I believe that learning should be fun and engaging, so I keep my students involved by constantly "checking in" with them. I ask them a lot of questions to determine how well they are understanding the concepts that we are working on.

The great thing about tutoring is the chance to work with students one-on-one. I am constantly challenging my students by asking them questions just a little beyond what we've covered. I am ALWAYS amazed at how often students figure out these answers!
